Holding Light, Rooting Memory

Echoes of Clay and Colour from the Luminous Poetry of Nina Lewis

The Architecture of Patience

Inspired by a poetic quote by writer James N. Watkins. “A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence.”

The Lilac Hour

Ceramic Resonances on the Melancholic World of Árpád Tóth

“Not long after I met Krisztina she was talking about her work, and I was intrigued how the themes and ideas she expressed could be achieved in ceramics. When I saw her work I got it, and I was moved by the raw power and honest exploration of her medium.

I love the abstract forms that seem so organic and full of energy, they almost feel alive. Bold and playful use of clay and glaze that carry me off into landscapes of wounds and healing. It is an experience to behold them, and my pleasure and honour to photograph some of them.”
